Holiday Happenings

We are officially on Christmas break!!  Woo Hoo!!!  We crammed a lot of festiveness into our last week of school and here is a little recap.   After the final Nutcracker performance on Sunday, we drove through the live nativity at our church. I love that our church offers this every couple of years. Nearly 1600 cars drove through in the 2 nights!  What a great reminder of the real reason we celebrate!
We put on our pjs, picked up some oh so nutritious McDonald's and drove around looking for the best light displays for our annual PJ Light Night on Monday. Our favorite spots did not disappoint!  Such a fun little tradition!
EK had her ballet Christmas party on Monday, as well. She had so much fun playing dirty Santa and eating junk with her friends.
J had a little lunch date with EK and her friends one day.
We did some partying at the preschool.
Pajama day was a hit with this bunch of 2nd graders.
W and Em both were so sweet in the preschool program. They sang, danced, and did the motions and at one point, they even had their arms around each other while singing. They are the very best of friends!  A big thanks goes out to the grands for all being there to watch the performance!
We joined EK at school on Friday for chapel and her Christmas party. She has the best little class and the most fabulous teacher!!! So thankful!
We have been having some girl time over the last few days...
While W has been hanging out in Columbus. We sure do miss him!
Today, J and I are celebrating 11 years of marriage! 11 years?!?! How are we old enough for that? A lot has happened in the last 11 years but there is no one else I would rather go through the ups and downs of life with besides J. I'm very grateful for "us"!!!!!!
Happy Saturday, friends!!!
