Canton Lights 2016

One of our favorite December traditions is to go explore "The City of Lights" and this year did not disappoint!

The kids were big fans of the rides so we started with the carousel and cars.

After a few rides, it was time to get in position for the parade. They added a few new characters and we enjoyed visiting with them throughout the night. Well, all of them except Spider-Man. Emma was terrified and he kept popping up everywhere!!!

We found the Big Guy on the square and the kids all asked for snow for Christmas. I hope they are not disappointed in a few weeks!
Emma and Kay Kay took a ride on the train...
while the big kids listened to story time with Mrs. Claus. Sparky saw Walker sitting on the bench and joined him. They were big buddies by the end of the night!

We ran in to some friends as we walked around the courthouse....Cinderella, Ariel....
and Hunter Sykes!  We love our sweet Hunter!
G and Kay Kay took the big 2 on a trolley ride.

Emma opted for another spin on the carousel instead.
The horse drawn carriage was the last hoorah of the night. EK got to sit up front and hold the reigns. She was ecstatic. Walker was less than thrilled as you can imagine at the notion of riding in the back of the carriage!
It isn't a trip to Canton unless you take a picture in front of the light tree!

Proof that J and I were indeed with the rest of the family last night!  Going to Canton is one of my favorite things to do with my people. So grateful for our time together.
