EK turns 4 Months!!

Ella Kate is 4 months old! Some of these pictures are pretty poor in quality due to taking them on my phone. EK does not like to cooperate when the red light shines in her face from my camera. Even with the not so great quality...the cheesy grin is very visible!!!
So, what are we up to these days? Well, we are now sitting up on our own! What can I say, EK is a beast!!! She is doing great and she loves to be able to see everything that is going on around her. She is rolling all over the place too. I just can't believe how grown up she is! We are starting rice cereal tomorrow....this should be fun!
We went to the doctor today for our check up and shots. Here are the stats:
weight: 15 lbs 1 oz--35%
height: 25 in--25%
head: 42.6cm--55%
With this smile you wouldn't believe that this sweet baby just had 3 shots! She is such a good and happy baby! We are so lucky!!! Side note...this was my dress that she is wearing. I love to make her wear my things and then compare our pictures.....eventhough she looks more like her Aunt Jordan than either of her parents.

Well, that's about it for now. I can't wait to post some Halloween pictures of our little pumpkin!!! Also, big day on Tuesday!!! Ella Kate will go to Mother's Day Out with me for the first time!!!! YEAH!!!

Weekend Fun

We had a big weekend full of family, fun and football. We are SUPER excited that Anne Marie Blair made her debut Saturday morning! She is the most precious little baby and I love her full head of hair! YEAH for hair bows!!!!! Anne Marie and Ella Kate are going to be best friends!!! Congrats Bill and Amanda and big brother Sam!!!!
We spent the weekend in Columbus/Starkville. We got to visit with some of our friends in Columbus on Friday and that was so fun! We also hung out with the Nelsons which was GREAT! On Saturday, we headed to the big city for the big game. It was such a gorgeous day and we really had a great time visiting with everybody at the tailgates. EK was fabulous and even made her first game appearance. If only the outcome would have been better. My heart goes out to the boys. They worked so hard and one day soon it is going to pay off and they are going to get a big win. Despite the sad ending to the ball game, EK had a blast and I do not know if it is possible for her to ever act as perfectly as she did.
Here we are waiting on the team to walk by. We really wanted to see "Uncle" Baker, but we missed him. =(
Trying to get an almost 4 month old and a dog to both look at the camera is impossible. Oh well, at least EK wasn't crying!
Getting excited after a pregame bottle.
This is how EK spent the entire 1st half of the ball game. She wasn't bothered at all by the 57,000 screaming fans and the 56,000 cowbells. I have no idea how she slept through it!
She woke up for the second half. She really seems to love football...I am so proud!
She was amazed by the jumbotron. She just kept staring at it...I wonder what she was thinking?

Ella Kate's Christening

Today was Ella Kate's Christening at church. We were so blessed to have the support of so many of our family members and our friends. Ella Kate was sooooooo great! I had been nervous that she would scream when President Smith was doing his thing, or that she would spit up all over his robe. Luckily, everything went perfectly! Here are some of the pictures from the day!!!
Pres and EK LOVE each other!!! I think he would have preached his whole sermon holding her! He brought it today with the message. It was AWESOME!
EK didn't seem to mind the water on her head. I have been practicing with her everyday during bath time so she would be prepared.
My Papaw and Mamaw and my Aunt Carolyn. Mamaw made Ella Kate's dress out of her best friend's wedding dress. It was so beautiful!
Our family
My parents (Big G and Kay Kay) and Aunt Haley...notice Haley is sporting the maroon in celebration of the Bulldog victory yesterday!!! WOOOO HOOOOO
J's parents (Nana and Pop), J's brother Ren and his wife Lee Ellen and our nephews John David and Gregory.
We had lunch at our house after church for our families. This is cute Gregory hanging out in the tree. I LOVE this picture.
Now J joined in the tree climbing fun!

Happy Fall Y'all!

YEAH for the fall weather! It was so fun to get all bundled up to go outside today. Ella Kate seems to be a big fan of her new hat I got off of etsy.com. Isn't it precious??? It is a bit big, but it gets the job done.
Ella Kate is chewing on anything and everything. She loves to put her dress in her mouth and she especially loves to chew on her fingers. I think she got that from her daddy!
She is getting such the personality now. She laughs all the time and "talks" constantly! I am afraid we may have to deal with an "excessive talking" on the report card one day!
My happy little girl!

Weekend with Jordan

It was so great to have Jordan home from Virginia this weekend! She and EK had a big time together catching up on things. We did a lot of just sitting around and talking and playing with EK, but it was super fun! Here are some pictures from the weekend.
