A Perfect September

Yes, that's right!!! Our beloved Dawgs were a perfect 4-0 in September for the first time since 1999!!! Let's just hope that the next few years are not as horrible as the ones that followed 1999! Anyway, proud for the team because they have worked so hard, and we had a fun time cheering them on to victory.

Before going on campus, we met up with Haley for some yummy frozen yogurt.  The kids were tickled to see Haley and EK was not too happy when we went our different directions to go to our seats!
This is one of my favorite parts of football weekends! I just love Meaghan and Sally and even if it was only for a minute, it means the world to me to see their sweet faces and hug their necks!!!
Our best attempt at all 6 kids....fail!!!
Praying Jesus will bring little Max Gordon home to his forever family soon so he can be in this picture before next year!!!!
Precious little girls!!!
Walker and Reid were not really in to our photo attempts, but we must document their friendship from the beginning!!! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE having friends that are the exact same point in life as me? God has been so good to give me these friends!!!
We also got to see the Wavro family.  It is hard to believe that I started babysitting these girls when Chandler (far right) was younger than Ella Kate...yikes.
France and Wesley are so grown up now! I was their age when they were born!  It was great to see them and even better to see them cheering for the Dawgs...since their mama went to TSUN!
We made it to our seats after visiting with everyone and Ella Kate was beyond thrilled to take it all in with G and Kay Kay.
Walker looks so happy...but the noise was a little much at times for Bubba.  He spend part of the game inside, which meant we missed watching about half of the game.
Ella Kate LOVED every minute of the game.  She was making us laugh because she had her cowbell ready and when everyone else started ringing, she would stop mid sentence, grab her bell, ring, ring, ring, and then pick right back up where she left off.  The fly over, fireworks, and the band were her favorite parts...oh and Uncle Baker as the "Hero in the Classroom" :)
We are already excited about being back in 3 weeks to cheer on the Dawgs against Tennessee.  We should win the fashion contest for sure! Especially if that UT coach wears those horrid orange pants!!!!

Happy Birthday Kay Kay

Today, my parents, Haley and Jordan all came to Hattiesburg to celebrate my mom's birthday.
Ella Kate has been beyond thrilled for some of her favorite people to come to her house.  She picked out decorations, plates, the gifts, and even made the cake.  She was so proud!!! She did get a little disappointed because she did not receive her invitation to the birthday party.  The "mail man" must have lost it.  Oops!

It was so great to have these pretty girls with us!!!!
Ella Kate is a little photographer in training.  She LOVES taking pictures and after each shot, she says "I got it.  That was a good one!"

I love that these pictures make it look like it is really fall!!! The cooler weather really needs to hurry up!!!
My babies sure do love their aunts!!!!!

We hope you had a fabulous birthday Kay Kay!!! Thank you for coming to see us!!!!!

Mr. and Mrs. Knarr

This past weekend, my mom and I flew to Virginia for my cousin Tyler's wedding.  We so enjoyed getting to celebrate Tyler and Liz and we also had such a great time getting to visit with family.

The wedding took place at Rolling Rock Farm outside of Richmond.  The setting was absolutely stunning and Liz did a great job adding vintage touches everywhere.

You can't really tell it from the pictures, but Mother Nature tried to spoil the day.  The skies were so dark, there was a major threat of tornadoes and the wind almost knocked us down, but luckily with the help of a speedy minister, the ceremony was concluded just before the flood gates opened.
Mr. and Mrs. Tyler Knarr!!!!!
The food was yummy, the decorations were precious, the couple was stunning, and the company was incredible.
And seriously, how cute is this??? The newlyweds left on Tyler's tractor.  Such fun!!!!
We wish Tyler and Liz the very best! I am jealous that they are relaxing in St. Lucia right about now!!!

Now...you should really go and check out all the AMAZING pictures their wonderful photographer took.  I wish I could take credit for the pictures above..oh well!!!

While Mommy's Away...

My cousin Tyler got married this past weekend, so last Friday, I flew up to Virginia with my mom. (pictures to come from the wedding =) ) The kids went on a mini vacation to Nana and Pop's house.  They had THE BEST TIME!!! Ella Kate got to cook (which is her favorite thing to do), make bead necklaces, go swimming, visit with Meemaw, and rule the roost.  Walker got some good loving and was just his happy little self.  Thank you Nana and Pop for taking care of my babies!!!!

4 Months Old

Walker Man turned 4 months old on Saturday.  He is THE BEST baby and we are having such fun with him.  He is sleeping 12 hours a night as well as taking a 45 minute nap in the morning and a 2-3 hour afternoon nap.  My babies like to sleep as much as me!!! Thank goodness!!! He eats 4 6oz bottles a day.  He goes to the doctor this week for those stinky shots, and I can't wait to see how much he has grown.  He laughs all the time and has a smile that just melts my heart.  Ella Kate is the best at making him cackle. They are too precious together. He loves to practice sitting up and MUST face out to see everything when being held.  He is super at rolling over and he loves his pacifier. I am excited that we will finally make it to Starkville in a couple of weeks so he can experience his first Bulldog game.  We love you Brother Bear!!!

Walker's First Day of School

My Big Boy started Mother's Morning Out last week.  I love having him across the hall from me while I teach preschool in the mornings and he loves flirting with his teachers.

Hurrication

Last week was....interesting and exhausting for sure!!! Our week started off with the 1st day of school for Ella Kate and for me.  Madness! I kind of feel like God has a way of making teachers forget the first few days of school so they will continue teaching.  You know, the way He allows you to forget childbirth once the baby arrives?  Monday was also the day that the workers came to install our new counter tops.  Nothing like a little home improvement project the first week of school!!! Anyway, we survived, and then our dear friend Isaac decided to make his appearance.  We knew we would miss school on Wednesday, but were not certain about the days after that.  We decided to load up and head to Jackson on Tuesday night.  We have some pretty large trees surrounding our house and I was freaking out a bit about the threat of tornadoes, so much rain/wind, etc.  Anyway, we ended up staying until Thursday afternoon.  Ella Kate had fun getting to spend some unexpected play time with Kay Kay and G.  J was able to visit with a few ministry friends, and we were all able to go play with Bill and Amanda Blair and their kids.  All in all, it was an awesome time to just be away from home!  School was back on for Friday.  We had planned to head to Starkville after school, but after driving back and forth to Jackson, we decided it was probably in the best interest of our kids to stay home.  Walker DOES NOT like the car seat AT ALL and cries and cries and cries unless we are driving at nap time.  Not fun! We did of course have to cheer on our Dawgs and wear some of our game day gear.  We had a little tailgate at the Parsons' house.  It was a fabulous time and we had such fun cheering on our Dawgs to a big victory!!!

This picture just makes me smile.  It is so our life these days.  Ella Kate is a ham!  She constantly has us laughing with the hysterical things she says.  And sweet brother man, he just hangs out.  Bless his sweet little heart.  He is so chill, which is a blessing for sure!!! I just love these two!!!
