Walker's Paw-ty

Walker and his best buddy Max celebrated their birthdays with a joint Paw Patrol Paw-ty at the park. These little friends had a ball! The kids got super sweaty playing on all the fun playground equipment then we gathered back together for snacks and birthday cake.

Kay Kay and Haley were with us to take in all the festivities.  Haley played party photographer for the millionth time. Thanks, Haley!
Should I be scared???? I have another picture identical to this one from the baseball field when these two saw each other there on Saturday.
Make a wish!

Walker's one request for the party was a piƱata. So, we delivered.

It blows my mind that W will be 5 in less than 2 weeks. The days are long but the years are short!
W has the best little friends. It's going to be so sad when they all head off to different schools for kindergarten!
Sweaty family picture!
W had the best time going through all the fun gifts his kind friends brought him. It was a good day for sure.

Easter 2017

It's been such a good day celebrating our risen Savior!  Church this morning was absolutely amazing and such a sweet, spirit filled time. We have been singing the song "Resurrecting" by Elevation Worship over the last few weeks and I can not get the lyrics out of my mind. My favorite part says:

By Your spirit I will rise
From the ashes of defeat
The resurrecting king
Is resurrecting me
In your name I come alive
To declare your victory
The resurrecting king
Is resurrecting me

So very grateful that the grave could not hold Him and we get to be a part of His victory!

So, here are a few pictures from the day.....starting with the obligatory snaps in front of the flower covered cross....

It's always a positive when you get to wear a twirly dress!
After church, we grabbed a bite to eat and then headed to our house for a little birthday celebration for a certain almost 4 year old.
She was a big fan of everyone singing to her!

It blows my mind that this little girl is almost 4!!!!!
We ate cupcakes and ice cream and then it was time for some presents.
She was so excited to find Emerson her new Wellie Wisher. Emma sleeps with the American Girl catalog every night so needless to say, she was thrilled to see her very own doll in real life!

EK was so proud of the necklace she made for Em. Emma seemed happy with it as well.
Days like today make my heart feel like it might burst. The Lord has been so gracious to our family and we are overwhelmed by his goodness!  Happy Easter!

Easter Eggstravaganza

We joined my parents and Haley and Robert at their church's egg hunt this morning. It was a gorgeous day and a really good time!
We kicked off the morning with the inflatables.

There was face painting...
And balloon animals.
They had the hunting divided into age groups. W and Em went together

EK was up next. With 13,000 eggs to be collected, our buckets were overflowing!

We finished out the morning with some playground time and snacks!

Moose joined in on the fun and seemed to enjoy himself!  He is growing so much!
GCC put on an outstanding event and I'm so glad my parents invited us to attend! My kids are already talking about next year!
