Shake, Rattle, and Roll

Ella Kate LOVES to dress up, so the 50's themed birthday party for sweet Caroline was extra fun!
The decorations were all too precious and the ice cream sundae bar was a hit.  How cute are the car boxes for their chicken and fries?!?

The kids with the hula hoops were hilarious to watch!
I just think she looked too cute, so I couldn't help myself.  I had to take a million pictures!!!

Happy Friday!!!!! WOOO HOOO!!!!!

Thanksgiving-Part 2

On Thanksgiving Day, we spent the day in Amory with the Jones Family.  My cousin Matt hosted our little get together in his new home, and we all enjoyed great food and fellowship.
I think Mammaw Jones enjoyed her time with the great grands!
Ella Kate and Haley had a big time playing in the back yard.

 Ho Ho Ho!!!
We Joneses like to kick off the Christmas season early and do our Christmas on Thanksgiving.  EK was super excited to open some fun gifts!!!
On Friday, we met the Gordon Family in Starkville for a little lunch and play time.  It was perfect!  There were only a few people in the whole place, so we were able to sit right beside the play area and the kids had the run of the play ground.  It was so wonderful to get to visit with Meaghan and Wes.  I only wish we got to do it more often!!!
Saturday morning, we met up with The Braddys for breakfast.  How adorable is Gideon Tamirat???? I mean, seriously!!!!  It is so amazing to watch their family all together.  We have prayed for the child that God would bring in to their family for such a long time and to actually get to spend time with him was just incredible.  God is so good!!!!

Thanksgiving Part 1

We were able to spend Wednesday celebrating Thanksgiving with J's family.  J's brother and his family came to Columbus and we so enjoyed getting to visit with everyone.  We went down to the Riverwalk downtown and took advantage of the beautiful fall weather for a little photo session.
Nana and Pop were happy campers to have their grands with them.

The grown ups may or may not have had more fun than the kids with this....

We have so very much to be thankful for this year.  We have the most wonderful families, have been blessed with great health (other than that dumb gallbladder :( ), wonderful jobs, an amazing church family, 2 of the sweetest little children on the planet,  precious friends, and so much more.  God has truly blessed our family and we look so forward to what he has in store for us in the next year...like starting the adoption process!!!  Woo Hoo!!!

Our Date with G

We had a special treat yesterday! G took Ella Kate and me to see the Princesses on Ice!!! Ella Kate is all about everything Disney, so she was thrilled to get to go and see some of her favorite characters...and I love any chance I get to sing some Disney tunes and watch a great show!!!
Who doesn't love a blinky light?
EK LOVED the Peter Pan act.  She thinks that Captain is just hilarious.
She was also super excited when all the Princesses and their Prince Charmings came out together.  She was grinning from ear to ear and waving at them.

We had such a fun time and the show was fabulous! Thank you G for taking us!!!

The Start of a Great Week!

As soon as carpool ended on Friday, Ella Kate, Walker and I hit the road for G and Kay Kay's house!  While we played in Madison, J got the chance to go to the National Youth Workers Convention in Dallas with some friends.
We had a great visit at Papaw's followed by a delicious dinner at Trace Grill.

These two love each other so very much!

Ella Kate was beyond thrilled because all the Christmas decorations were on display at Papaw's including her favorite table...the trains!
Saturday morning, we got up bright and early to head to Starkville.  It was a gorgeous day topped off with a big Bulldog W...you can't get much better than that!!!!  I cried like a baby throughout the game.  Seeing Nick Bell's mama walk across the field just got me and then the band did the Patriotic show...and the flood gates opened. I was just in awe as men and women stood up during their branch's song and a feeling of pure gratitude for their service overwhelmed me.  It was just so special!!!

Ella Kate LOVED the huge American Flag! The band is her favorite part of the whole game!!!
Bless sweet Walker's heart!! I dressed him for a blizzard!!!!
I got to catch up with one of my favorite students from Clinton...who is now in college!!! How can it be that I am old enough for this?????  Love you Lyssa!!!!
My precious little cheerleader crashed on the way back from the game.  Too much fun for one day!!!

My Little Indian Princess

Ella Kate had her Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday at preschool.  She was so very excited about the party, but was even more excited about dressing up as Pocahontas.
Sweet thing even shared some of her party food with her daddy.
The class did a fun little turkey/Thanksgiving song for the parents.  So fun to see!
EK loves her some Ms Sunny!!!
 Cute little Indians!!!!
