Frozen on Ice

On Friday, mom, Ella Kate and I loaded up and headed to New Orleans to see Frozen on Ice. EK passed the time in the car by reading book after book.  I'm so thankful she is like her Aunt Jordan in that she adores reading!

EK was thrilled to pieces to get to sleep on her very own pull out sofa bed. Staying in the hotel was a huge treat for her because it has only happened a few times in her little life.

She got to swim too which pretty much made it the best day ever!

The water was a bit on the cool side, so she only lasted about 45 minutes.  She had a big time in this 45 minutes though!

I asked her what her favorite part of the hotel was fully expecting her to say the swimming pool.  Well, the balcony was actually her favorite part.  She had the best time sitting out there with
mom...and asking 8 million questions.

We got found some yummy lunch at a little pizza place before heading to the show.

It's no huge surprise that my family is a huge fan of all things Disney. We grew up going to Disney World, know every line and song to every movie, and we LOVE seeing all the shows. We have seen the  Princesses on Ice show a number of times, so when we heard about the Frozen show, we knew it was a must see!

This show DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Mom and I decided it was so much better because it told the whole story instead of jumping from story/character to the next so quickly. The production was amazing and we all enjoyed it so much.

It was so awesome to get to spend some special time with mom and Ella Kate!  I loved every minute of our little girls trip!
