First Grade Day

It was a very big day for some sweet kindergarten friends. Today was their "First Grade Day."  The kids were surprised with a limo waiting for them outside of the kindergarten to drive them up to the "Big School."  I mean, how fun is that?  They got to meet Mrs. Vance, the elementary principal.

They also visited several classrooms, the cafeteria, art room, science lab and all the other enrichment classrooms. Ella Kate was the most impressed with the "for real" desks and she loved the library as well.

It is just so crazy that we are already at the end of this year and this sweet crew will be moving on up to first grade! Kindergarten has been fabulous and I can't wait to see what first grade has in store!
