Christmas In New Albany

We celebrated Christmas with J's family on Saturday. We had a full schedule of events ahead of us, so we got to New Albany early Saturday morning. The kids enjoyed playing outside while everything was getting set up for lunch and Christmas in the house.

The cousins competed in a friendly foot race.
Walker cheated.
They had the best time!

Little bit tried her hardest to keep up with the big kids.
So beyond grateful to have this little one with us this Christmas. One year ago, we were frantically packing and organizing schedules to leave on the 10th to go meet her. Our lives sure are different one year later and for that, we are incredibly thankful!
Brother rides this pig every time we go to Ren and Lee Ellen's. He thought it was awesome.
Precious little cousins.
After lunch, we did a quick costume change and went to have family pictures made. Then, it was time to open presents!  Nana had quite a lap full!
Emma was all about opening her gifts!
EK is obsessed with all things for her American Girl doll, so she was pretty tickled with this desk set complete with laptop and a lamp that actually turns on.
Just like daddy!
Emma may need a bit of help with her form.
My baby girl and her baby girl.
We had such a fun morning visiting and playing together. After presents, we made the short drive to Batesville to catch a train to the North Pole on the Polar Express!!!
