Baby B and Some Ducks
On Saturday, I had to privilege of hosting a baby shower for Baby Bishop. Karen and Jake are waiting to be surprised, but the vast majority of party goers, including me, think that Baby B is a little boy. Either way, we are thrilled for the Bishops and can't wait to meet their sweet little one!!!!
Saturday night, we picked up my Papaw and stuffed our faces with some Cock of the Walk goodness. It is always delicious but for some reason, it tasted even better than usual on Saturday. We of course had to feed the ducks afterwards.
Ella Kate was armed with a bag of goldfish to feed those poor little ducks that must be starving...insert sarcasm here. After the goldfish were all gone, she made mom go get more food from the to go box to keep feeding the ducks, fish, and otter? I did not realize the Reservoir had such wildlife, but after speaking with several people and a little internet search, it was confirmed. Who knew???
Ella Kate had a blast and cried when she had to come back to Hattiesburg with me. She just LOVES her G and Kay Kay. I can't say that I blame her. They are pretty awesome!
We very much enjoyed our evening with Papaw!!!
And I leave you with Delta Gamma Anchor Man 2030!!!!!!
Sip and See for Future Roomies
Yesterday, some sweet friends hosted a sip and see for Walker and baby Reid Ray. Sally and I have been friends since our freshmen year at State and I am beyond grateful to be able to walk through this adventure called parenthood with her!! Walker and Reid were even due on the same day!!! I just can't wait to pull out these pictures when we move them in to their dorm room together at MSU!!!!
I am so thankful for such wonderful friends!!!! I just wish we all lived in the same town so we could hang out more often!!!
Love my little big sister
The boys were too cute "playing" together. Walker kept his hand on Reid's head for the majority of the pictures,
and then Reid decided to try and roll over on top of Walker. They are just too precious for words!
And seriously...is there anything cuter than some little knee socks???? I think not!!!!
We so enjoyed getting to visit with so many friends and are so thankful to Amanda and Karen for organizing such a special time.

Our 80's Party
Tonight was our Back to School party for the student ministry. Our theme this year was "The 80's." The students love any excuse to dress up and they went all out with their bright makeup, big hair, leg warmers, and dudes in some short shorts...yikes!
Here is my little family in our 80's digs. J is President Reagan and the kids and I are in our tribute to NK0TB!!! You know you are old and a child of the 80s when...a student asked who was on my shirt. I told her and she said, "Oh yeah. I have heard of them. Weren't they Hispanic? That's why they were called the New Kids. Because they were immigrants." Seriously??????????????? I almost cried. I just had to walk away.
Ella Kate loves all the attention she gets from all the "big kids." She pretty much has them wrapped around her finger. She got some jumping in and also some swimming in with her favorite babysitter Rachel.
"Get ready. Get set. GOOOOOO!!!!!
Walker just watched from the porch and flirted with all the girls.
A couple of my sweet D-group girls getting some loving in with Walker.
We had a great time kicking off the new school year!!! We are blessed to be a part of such an amazing group of students as well as extremely blessed to have so many parents and adults to help us along the way!!!!

Twinkle Toes
Today was a big day for my sweet little girl! Ella Kate had her first ballet class!!! I don't know who was more excited...me or her!!! She dances and prances around every room she is ever in, and so we decided to give it a try. I was a bit nervous because you never know what to expect with a 3 year old, but she LOVED it!!! She even cried when the hour ended and she had to go home. And thanks to my fabulous husband who kept Walker, I was able to watch Miss Priss in action!
So, on to the pictures....
Time to tap!
EK keeps saying "brush, brush, stomp. Brush, brush, stomp." I think she really likes to hear herself tap.
Can you say sassy? I mean, look at those hands on those hips!!!

Our Saturday in Starkville
We were on the road again this weekend! At the last minute, I decided to head to Starkville with my parents for Haley's last skit preview day at the DG house. We got to Madison on Friday and got in a little visit with Papaw.
The dancing queen put on quite a show for Papaw. She starts ballet this Thursday and she CAN NOT WAIT!!! I hope she doesn't freak out when we get there!!!EK has become obsessed with taking pictures. She took these two pictures and I was quite impressed with her skills. (She also took 64 pictures of Papaw on my phone. Silly girl!)
On Saturday morning, we were up bright and early to see the DG girls. Ella Kate was thrilled because Meaghan and Mary Reeves came to watch as well. EK and MR shared a seat on the front row and ooooed and ahhhed over all the dancing girls. Then they of course needed to have their picture taken with the anchor. Precious little legacies!!!!
Mary Reeves introduced Ella Kate to the world of the roly poly. They were too cute playing!!!
I am so thankful for my BFF Meaghan and I love getting to watch our babies play together! Can't wait to add their sweet Max to the mix!!!!
We went to the Grill for some cheese sticks after the skit with Haley and Robert. She took us on a tour of her apartment after lunch. It is precious and I know she is so proud of it....my old furniture looks pretty cute too!
And every time EK is with G and Kay Kay, getting fro-yo is on the agenda.
Nana brought my nephews over for a quick visit while we did some shopping at the Lodge. Those boys looked good surrounded by all that maroon and white...even if Gregory was wearing an Ole Miss shirt! We also ran by the freshman dorm to see our friend Chandler's new room. I'm going to be honest...I am a bit jealous of those rooms!!! They were crazy nice! I mean, I loved living in Rice Hall, but let's be honest....it was a hole!!! We had a great visit and now we are going to enjoy our last few days of summer!!!
