Poor W received his very first shiner about a week and a half ago. You will be seeing a lot of it over the next few weeks and just for kicks, here's the progression of the shiner so far.....
Right after the incident (W and another boy were jumping through a sprinkler and the boy's head just hit w in the perfect spot to create such a spectacular boo boo.
The morning after....impressive swelling
Day 2
And at about a week in....it's looking much better but it's not going down without a fight.👊🏻
W and Em went to Columbus for several days while I finished out all of my preschool obligations. They had an outstanding time as usual and I'm so grateful the Nelsons were willing to help me out in such a huge way!
They put some miles on the golf cart and visited the fire station too many times to count.
W got to experience the glory that is Dudy Noble one last time before the new stadium expansion takes place. He loved his date with Aunt Pam almost as much as he loved the dippin dots she bought him😉
Best buddies!
Easy Rider
Sweet summertime means playing in the sprinkler....only this time, let's hope for no more black eyes!
Seriously, they had the best time with Nana and Pop.
I got to eat lunch with EK and celebrate her summer birthday with her seeet friends one day.
I absolutely love listening to their conversations. They are hysterical.
We got the chance to see a sweet former student get married over the weekend. J performed the ceremony which is always such a special thing and we got to visit with so many friends from Shiloh. It was the first church we served as a married couple and we have such precious memories from our time and some of the most precious friendships as well.
This girl. I can't even deal. She was in the 7th or 8th grade when we met and now she's a grown up that I consider my daughter/little sister. It was good for me heart to get to spend some time with my Brooke!
My wedding date was pretty spectacular as well! I love getting to do life with this guy!
That about wraps up this random recap. Up next, more tball and the much anticipated dance recital!
