Field Day Fun

We woke up to boatloads of rain this morning but by this afternoon, the clouds had parted and the sun was shining down just in time for EKs field day.

She competed in he wheelbarrow race...

And also the three legged race in which they won second place.

She had a good time hanging out with her friends and I'm proud of the positive attitude she had throughout it all. She's quite competitive so being a good sport even when not taking home the blue ribbon is something we are practicing😉

Walker and his black eye were there to support big sister. Bless his sweat heart.  

Emma does not like to get hot or  sweat (could she be any more like me) so she had her daddy shade her....

She even caught a little nap! 

The end of the year activities are upon us and we are crawling to the finish line. Hurry up summer!!! We are all ready!
