We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. I could live on that porch! It was the perfect spot!
EK got to help out in the kitchen a good bit. She loved getting to be the helper and she especially loved the part where she got to serve us. So sweet.
Ross and Jordan cooked several times for us and my goodness, it was all delicious!

We had the chance to check out the Book Fair (yes, that is what it is called.) It is only open a couple of weeks a year and it has a crazy huge selection of books, teacher supplies, and various other things for an extreme discount (we are talking a couple of dollars for hard back, brand new best sellers.) This place was huge and EK was in book heaven. We all filled our baskets with lots of goodies and had we not been flying, we could have really stocked up!
Ross picked out a circuit building set for EK. It has 100 different circuits to build. She immediately got to work and she has had so much fun creating each one. Future engineer, possibly?
We played a lot of games which was comical. Ek is not always the best sport, so there was a bit of drama a few times. There may have been drama but there was also a lot of laughter!
We snapped a few pictures in their beautiful yard.
Sister selfie.
Their street is gorgeous! We enjoyed wandering around their yard and neighborhood seeing all there was to see. It is super hilly, so EK lost interest in walking pretty quickly!
We got to check out some glass blowing downtown. It was incredible to see the artist at work! EK chose a pendant necklace that was created in that studio as a little reminder of her trip.
We walked around town and got to see Jordan's office. Virginia is seriously gorgeous. The history, the architecture, the mountains, it's all just stunning.
These guys were the best hosts and we so loved our time in their home! Thank you so much Jo and Ross! We love y'all!
