A Couple of Things

Emma girl had quite an eventful week. On Tuesday, we had her 3-week post op appointment with her plastic surgeon. He was very pleased with her progress and said he would see us in 2 months. We are still on track to have the second part of the palate repair late summer. Until then, we will enjoy our splint free arms!!!

On Thursday, sweet pea had to get caught up on her vaccinations. Bless her....4 shots...but girlfriend was a trooper. Funny story...on Sunday, Emma was being a tad bit too vocal to stay in the sanctuary for the service, so she and I spent the rest of the time wandering the halls. This older woman stopped to talk to us, and she just kept going on and on about Emma and talking to her. And then...she looked at me and then looked at Emma and as seriously as could be she says this..."well she looks just like you!"  Seriously? That's a new one!

J and Ella Kate had a date night to watch Prep's show choir performance. Ella Kate is ALL about some show choir so she was pumped!! I think she enjoyed her special daddy time as well!!!

I got an email from EK's teacher today with this picture.  My sweet little southern belle signed her initials on her classmate's paper after checking their work and bless her bones, she signed her initials like her monogram!

We are looking forward to a short school week and then it will be spring break! Woo Hoo!!!
