Football season means we are making the rounds to see our students. For the opening game, my parents let Walker spend the night, so it was just Ella Kate with us for the Prep vs. Oxford game. Who knew that when these pictures were taken, our community would soon be rocked in a tragic and ultimately incredible way by Walker Wilbanks. I plan to write about this at some point. I'm still trying to process things.
Since kicking off our school year routine, we have made it a habit to meet Papaw for breakfast on Saturday mornings. Such a special time together that I am so thankful to have.

Ella Kate is having the most fabulous time at school. She has made some sweet friends and she is learning a ton. Sweet girl was PUMPED UP today because she filled up her good behavior card so she got to choose a coupon. This is a big deal!
Walker was our date for the JA game this last Friday night. He does not enjoy sitting in the bleachers, but was a huge fan of the drone that was filming the game. We made it to halftime and had to call it a night.
We had such a nice, relaxing weekend at home. Our Labor Day consisted of playing at the house and picking up ice cream with Kay Kay. I would say that makes for a great day!
