Halloween 2016 is in the books and this year offered some tricks along with our treats. Our Pirate Princess woke up Halloween morning with a little tummy bug. Bless her sweet heart. She was crushed at the thought of not only missing school but missing out on trick or treating as well. She rallied a bit so we let her wear her costume for a few minutes. She faded pretty quickly though and just rode in the wagon while her brother and sister collected all the loot.
Tinkerbell took her role very seriously and would only respond if spoken to as "Tinkerbell." She had way too much fun flying around the neighborhood!
My parents and Haley and Robert came over for dinner before the kids hit the streets.
My parents handled the job of candy distribution at our house while we followed the kids.
Finally time to go....
We had a fun night despite our sick sister. Now that it is November, it's acceptable for me to put up my Christmas decorations, right?
