October was Fire Safety month which pretty much ranks right up there with Christmas for Walker! You can imagine the excitement level on the day the firefighters brought not one, but two trucks to the preschool for a visit.
Walker was quick to volunteer to help during the presentation. Emma was pretty eager to help as well since whatever Walker does, she has to do as well. It was a super fun day for my little people!
Emma got to attend a tea party birthday for our sweet little friend Caroline. The girls were so precious to watch as they carefully sipped on their "tea" and ate their petit fours.....on real China dishes!!!😳😳
J carved a pumpkin with Walker's class one day. It turned out great and the kids loved having Mr. J hang out with them. He came by my room before leaving school and saw that I was attempting to carve a pumpkin with my class as well. He immediately took over the carving duties because he said I was not doing it right. #TeacherFailWe got to see Ella Kate be recognized in chapel for her achievements in AR for the first nine weeks. Each 2nd grade child is required to get 6 AR points per 9 weeks. Well, EK ended up with 103 for the first 9 weeks. We are so proud of our little reader. She is well on her way to blowing that number out of the water for the 2nd 9 weeks. #Bookworm
J and Emma had a little date one morning after speech. Emma is working so hard and doing the best she can with what she has but we still have quite a long road ahead of us. The girls spent an afternoon/evening at Mistletoe. We all love going and seeing what all there is to see. Now I'm ready to get the house all decorated for Christmas because Mistletoe always gets me in the spirit!
EK completed another project in sewing. She is so proud of her puppy dog!Speaking of dogs.....how about those bulldogs? Who would have thought that a 3-5 team would beat the #4 team in the country. We love the dawgs in good times and bad but it surely is a lot more fun to win!
