Ella Kate's Egg Hunt

The kindergarten egg hunt was today and there were some pretty excited 5 and 6 year olds!

Ella Kate and her friends all lined up and waited for the green light to begin their hunt.

There is a lot of blonde hair, blue eyes and big bows between these precious little friends.

All the eggs were numbered 1-12, so the kids had to not only locate the hidden eggs but find the numbers they needed. I love this idea! It made the hunt last longer and they were not running around getting hurt trying to pile every egg in sight into their buckets.

Sister girl found all her eggs fairly quickly,

so she went for a little swing while she waited for the others to finish.

After the hunt, the kids enjoyed some tasty treats and then it was time to head home.  We ran by to say hey to Kay Kay before leaving.  EK is so going to miss seeing Kay Kay everyday when she is up at the big school for first grade!

We have one more egg hunt to go!  It's sure been fun so far!
