Fun in the Sun

Sweet friends! We had the best time playing with our gracious hosts!  They headed home on Sunday and we stayed for a few more days of fun in the sun!

Ice cream is a must...add in tailgate style games and hula hoops and you've got yourself a party!

We explored one of the many souvenir shops and the kids came away with some new tshirts. It could have been a lot worse (I'm looking at you hermit crab 🦀  with the hello kitty painted shell...and you disgusting shark in a formaldehyde filled jar🤢🦈)

Movie night! 

We spent a crazy amount of time at the pool. Our condo didn't have that many units in it, so it wasn't crowded at all. So spoiled!

Making new friends!  These girls were inseparable!

Dude loves the hot tub!

One of best best surprises happened when I found out that my precious friend Lauren was staying only .2 miles down the beach from us!  We met up for a little visit and it was seriously good for my soul to chat in person as opposed to our normal telephone convos!

We've been friends for 17 years. I'm not even sure how we are old enough for that to be true, but I'm so very thankful!

After visiting with our friends, it was time to load up the van and head north to the Golden Triangle for a few days!
