Living the Crazy Life

I have a good excuse for the blogging absence this time!  We moved out of the Jackson house 2 weeks ago and into the new house this past weekend (with a week of being homeless in between where my parents graciously took us under their roof!)  It has been wild and moving with little people is no joke, but we are settled in and only lack a couple of things in the new house (curtains, rugs, a couple of chairs....no biggie😉)

So, here are the highlights of what has kept us busy these last few weeks!
EK designed and constructed her "Bella the BalerinaBot" for the robot parade at school. She loved this project and it look a little extra creativity since all our crafting supplies were already packed...for example...caulk was used to hold it together since my glue guns were not able to be located!
Sweet friends with their robot creations.
These 3 were a lot of "help" when we got the house packed. We surely appreciate the Nelsons, Robert and Haley, and my parents for doing the serious work and that husband of mine....I have to brag...he has worked so hard over the last few weeks to iron out details, haul our stuff all over the place, pack, unpack, paint, and so much more and he has never once complained. So thankful for you, J!
We finally closed on the Jackson house (a few days later than planned, but thankfully it all finally happened) and turned the keys over to a sweet girl. I hope she loves it!
Walker wanted his picture taken on the playground one day while we were out there. How could I resist?
EK's class was in charge of the weekly chapel service at school and she was PUMPED UP to introduce the speaker...her daddy! He was so excited he did a head stand!😳
Chapel was wonderful and we all enjoyed getting to be a part of it!
EK attended a super hero party for her friend Ruthie. She had a big time!
Em and W went to Columbus to play while we got moved in to the new house. They had a ball as usual.  A big "thank you" to yhe Nelsons for taking in the littles!! We were able to make so much progress while they were away.
With the help of some amazing friends, we got our entire house painted in a day. They seriously were unbelievable and we are so grateful for their willingness to help us!  The only room that didn't get painted was the playroom, so EK got the doll house moved in immediately and was as happy as a clam!  After the paint dried, my mom was the best at getting things unpacked and in place. She is so good at that and it quickly started to feel like home!  And then, Robert and Haley....there are no words for those 2...Robert took off work and Haley gave up a couple days of spring break to unload, paint, hang everything (perfectly level, I might add with no extra nail holes made), change out fans, and countless other tasks. They are ridiculously kind to us!  Love yall!
Robert also brought over a special gift his sweet and talented mother made for a Walker. He is obsessed with all things fire truck so he obviously adores his fire truck quilt. Seriously, it is awesome!!!  Thank you so much, Ms Yvonne.
We also had the privilege this week to spend an afternoon with #15.  Oh how I love that guy!  Dak shared to a room full of elementary kids and they were all soaking in every word. He is such a solid, consistent guy and I am so thankful for the example he sets for all the little eyes watching him. The friends of ours that put on the event asked J to pray over Dak as he begins his career in the NFL.  It was a really sweet time and we will definitely be cheering this guy on as he begins this next chapter in his life.
This week is spring break for the little 2 and for me, and EKs is next week. Silly scheduling schools! We have some fun in store over the next few days, so hopefully I will be back to the blog more frequently.  Happy Thursday! (It is Thursday, isn't it?)
