A Little of This and a Little of That

So, here are a few recent happenings off of my trusty iPhone.  EK and J planted a few tomato plants.  We had a legit garden in Hattiesburg, but opted for just a few pots this year.  I'm already licking my lips just thinking about the yummy tomato goodness that EK will grow this year!
EK was pretty pumped up to wave her palm branch in big church on Palm Sunday.  She and Anne Marie held hands on their way down the aisle and waved their branches proudly with the other hand.
EK has been begging me to roll her hair.  Doesn't every little girl wear pink sponge rollers at some point in her life?  Unfortunately, there is no after picture because EK threw up all over the place while sleeping and required a bath immediately.  Maybe we will try again soon.
We made some Easter picture frame crafts one day.  Walker has carried his around with him for a week.  I think he is pretty proud.
Our hot water heater burst which is about the last thing we really wanted to deal with, but the kids were thrilled with the big box that served as a castle for a few days.
We went to Amory to visit my grandmother last Friday.  We had such a nice time getting to see her!

While at Mamaw's, Walker saw this picture of Jordan and kept saying "Elle Kay."  Bless him.  I can see why he was confused.  Jordan also went through her early childhood years living by the "no bow, no go" rule.

These two have really started playing well together.  I LOVE those precious moments when they get along so beautifully.  I hope they are always close friends.
We have been spending an enormous amount of time outside.  The weather has been just about perfect, but when you spend HOURS outside....it gets hot!!! So, we broke out the sprinkler for some water fun.  The kids didn't seem to mind that the water was FREEZING!!!!
Our church participated in Stop Hunger Now this week.  Miss Priss was not too excited to wear the snazzy hair net, but she got over it when she was given her task.  My job was loading the finished meals into the boxes to be loaded on the truck.  EK was a huge helper and acted as the runner who would bring all the finished meals to me to pack.  She ran non stop for an hour and a half.  She was really awesome! It was incredible to be able to talk with her about serving others and the many, many needs of people around the world.

Happy Friday and have a super weekend!!!!
