Over the weekend, my cousin Katie got married in North Carolina. She was so sweet and asked Ella Kate to be her flower girl. So Thursday, we loaded down the van (and looked like the Clampetts, I might add) and made the trek to Charlotte. The kids did amazingly well for such a long drive. We arrived at the Duke Mansion on Friday, got unloaded, and began the rehearsal. After the rehearsal, we went to a fabulous dinner at a really cool church turned restaurant. Ella Kate's birthday was on the day of the rehearsal. Sweet Katie was so thoughtful and had a delicious cupcake cake there for Ella Kate.
We had a great night celebrating Katie and Adam! There are many more pictures to come from our weekend.
