January...The Longest Month Ever!

I keep seeing the meme that says "January was a tough year but we made it."  Our January wasn't particularly tough but it did seem to drag on for a sweet forever!  We filled our days with lots of goodness so here is a little (actually quite long) recap.

The little two kicked off the new year with a parade through the church. My ears are still ringing from the noise makers!😳

And the only thing better than one parade is two!  Emma and her friends had a Royal Parade to celebrate the end of their fairy tale unit. She loved waving to all the peasants watching in the hall!👸🏻

J led chapel for EKs class. She is always so proud to have her Daddy with her!

It's always a treat to get snaps from Haley throughout the day too! Man I'm going to miss her being at school with EK!

EK is in the midst of lots of rehearsals as she prepares for the spring performance in March. She still loves it, so back and forth to the studio we go....a lot!

A short 4 days after our snow melted, we were greeted by sunshine and high 60s temperatures. It was glorious!  W decided that the warmer temps would be the perfect time to drop his training wheels and take off on his big boy bicycle. He worked so hard and had it down in no time!  I kept telling him to trust himself and believe he could do it. I got so tickled as I videoed bc as he got closer, I could hear him saying "I trust I can do it" over and over again. It was precious!

Haley and EK had a special night together at Riverdance. They had a wonderful time and reported that the show was amazing.

Thank you Haley for the special treat for EK!  Precious memories!  I know she will remember it forever!

W and I had such a fabulous time at the Mother/Son Pancake supper. We ate yummy chocolate covered pancakes, played lots of games, and shared plenty of laughs. I love hanging out with this little guy!
