Peace Out, 3rd Grade✌🏻

EK wrapped up a fabulous year of school. I know I say it every year, but how are we here?!! It's wild that she is a 4th grader (well, almost)
The 3rd graders partied hard at the skating rink. It was the first time in wheels for most of the kids. There were a few booty bruises afterwards!

Awards Day was the official last day of school. EK set a really big goal for herself  this year with her AR. She blew her goal out of the water and received the award for the most points in 3rd grade and also the most points in the entire elementary!  She was more than 500 points ahead of the closest competition. She loves to read and I'm so very grateful that it has never been a struggle for us to get her to read. Fingers crossed her siblings follow suit!

EK received an award for the "Million Words Club". Only a handful of kids are in this group and it's a big task to read so much. It's my blog so I can brag all I want😉.  EK read over 6.5 million words this year. That's s amazing!

She also received an award for All A's for the year. This girl loves school and I am just so proud of how hard she works and pushes her self to do the very best that she can do.

It was a good year in Mrs. Ruwe's class. Now all the excitement is beginning for 4th grade where the students get to change classes and carry trapper keepers. It doesn't get much better than that!
