We made some progress on our summer bucket list over the last month which included a ton of swimming. The big 2 have become good little swimmers this year. This month, W ditched the floats and has been loving his new freedom! Now if only we can convince little sister to put her face in the water!
We braved the heat for a super fun surprise play date with our BFFs. They have been away all summer and came home for just a few days. We didn't tell the kids about the reunion but they were so surprised and excited to see each other. It was really a sweet time!
The kids wanted a popcorn and a movie night so that is what they got. Yay for a simple and fun Bucket List item.
My parents took the kids fig picking at one of their friend's houses. None of my crew will actually eat figs but they sure do love the picking part!
W and Em explored at the Natural Science museum with G and Kay Kay. It is definitely one of our favorite spots.
EK got to spend the night with Haley and Robert. She absolutely loved her special time with them!
I'm a little jealous that they went to visit Laurel! I love Hometown on HGTV and I'm sad I missed out on seeing the sights in person. I will be going soon!
We finished out our summer bucket list with a trip to Memphis. The girls went to see The Little Mermaid at the Orpheum.
The boys went to the Memphis Fire Museum.
Completing our bucket list was a lot of fun. I think we are going to create one for the school year as well but for now, we are going to soak up these last few days before school starts!
