Fireworks with Friends

We got all decked out in our red, white and blue for a little cookout with some of our neighbors on Saturday night.

We absolutely love our new neighborhood and are so thankful for the friends we have already made!

Pretty amazing picture, right? I tried, but getting a decent shot was just not going to happen!  The jump house was a hit amongst the 20+ kids running around!

Someone brought a sno cone machine which was much appreciated by everyone because a Mississippi July is HOT!!!  Just look at those red cheeks!

This little love has become so independent. A year ago, she would have been glued to my side. Not this year!  She had a blast playing with all the other kids!

When the sun went down, it was time to break out the glow sticks and get in position in the yard to watch the fireworks show over the reservoir. It was pretty handy to just get to watch them from the backyard without having to fight all the crowds.

Walker kept saying "wow" over and over. 

The fellowship was great, the food was amazing, and the fireworks were an added bonus. It was a great night and a fun way to kick off this holiday weekend!
