Our Wednesday Night activities have started up again. Last week, we had a house showing so we couldn't go home in between school and church time. No worries, we found some entertainment at the church. These little people sure do love the stage. Walker performed a lively rendition of "Do Lord" followed by Emma's presentation of her most favorite song, "Let It Go."

The middle schoolers had the inflatable obstacle courses for the night, so we also got to jump and play for a bit before the big kids took over. It's a perk of being a youth ministry kid for sure!
On Saturday, the kids surprised Kay Kay with a birthday celebration. They hid under the table and practiced yelling "surprise" a time or two.....or twelve!
We enjoyed some tasty treats made by Walker. He is a big fan of cooking.
She's the best Kay Kay around and we are so thankful she is ours! Happy Burthday!!!

Emma and Walker took their first trip to the dentist today. This is their "show me your teeth" face. I love that my kids go to my childhood dentist!  It's that sense of familiarity that is so comforting! Dr. Simmons is the cutest 80+ year old around and he is so great at what he does. We just love him!
Walker had a blast and did a fabulous job. He asked no less than 200 questions and was slightly disappointed that he didn't see an alligator in the swampy area behind the office. Luckily the plastic baseball bat and ball and new Avengers toothbrush helped him deal with the disappointment of no alligator. (Lucky for him, we go back next week for EKs appointment and he can gator watch again!). Miss Emma was not a fan but Dr. Simmons was pleased with how things were looking. We got the standard "you have a long road ahead of you!"  but nothing unexpected. Both kids were cavity free, so I'm a happy mama!
Today marks 9 months with our little China doll. She is a tiny little thing with the biggest personality!  She is loving MMO and they tell me she pretty much runs the class. She sings and dances her way through the day and she loves to put on performances with her Dora microphone. She follows directions really well but she will let you know when she is not happy with things!  She still eats everything and is a great sleeper. She loves to read books and play with baby dolls. She wants to do everything that EK and W do....for the good or bad! She loves speech and will be assessed next week to hopefully begin with some new therapists as well. She is such a joy and we are so thankful for her sweet life and the fact that we get to share it together!
