Ek's Waterslide Party

A word comes to mind when thinking about Ella Kate these days....rotten! Not really, but she has had 4 birthday parties this year. I know, I know, it's a little bit ridiculous but oh well. It has sure been fun!!! We celebrated with the Nelson family in Columbus on Tuesday. J's cousins from Arizona were in Mississippi for a visit, so it was a perfect time to get everyone together. J's mom rented an ENORMOUS inflatable water slide for the kids to play with and it was a blast!!! Thank you to all the Nelsons and Harveys for coming to play with us!!!!!

Our nephews John David and Gregory played so hard that John David fell asleep at about 6 and slept until the next morning!

The slide was great for the kids but every once and a while, someone would be going too fast and would hit the side of the pool at just the right spot for the flood gates to open and all the water would pour out into the carport where all the adults were watching. That brings us to the picture above. When the water would pour out, you better get your feet up quickly!!!

Ella Kate found out she could drive the gator by herself. Oh dear! It was hilarious!!! Uncle Buddy chased her all over the place since she went full speed ahead the whole time and didn't understand that you had to turn the steering wheel.
