Back to School📚🖍✏️✂️

Well, we just finished our first full week of school so it's about time I get our back to school post done. It has been a fabulous start to the school year for all 4 Patriots!

Meet the teacher......
Mrs. Sosebee
Mrs. Heard
Mrs. Burns
All of Kay Kay's grands in one school!

First Day of School.....
4th grade
Kindergarten
K4
What a gift it is to teach at the same place where my kids are in school. It is so special to get to see them in action throughout the day!
EK is loving life in 4th grade. Changing classes has lived up to all the hype and the trapper keeper is all she dreamed and more! She even won 602 jelly beans thanks to some good estimating!
Em is the queen of her class. Mrs. S has an "Emma story" every day bc her personality is twice as big as her body!
It is so fun to get to see my little guy on the playground several times a day. He has adjusted beautifully and has made lots of new friends.
I am so grateful for such an easy transition to our new normal. We all sleep well at night thanks to the busy days but our days are filled with a whole lot of good! So, no complaints from our end,

Goodbye Summer!

We finished out our summer with a bang!  J and I took the little two to the natural science museum while EK explored the MS history museum with my parents (where no cameras were allowed😉)
The Ripley's Believe It Or Not exhibit was a hit!
Our friends have a climbing wall in their backyard. The kids think it is the best thing ever! Play dates are never dull with the Blairs!
W and Em spent some time in Columbus while I got my classroom ready to go. They made countless trips to the fire station, went to two family reunions and did a lot of swimming. They had the best time and I am so appreciative of the Nelsons who were willing to have them while I worked.
EK and I spent many, many, many hours in this space getting it ready to go for my class. She was a big helper!
It was a really great summer but I think we were all ready to get back in a routine! We may be changing our tune in a couple of weeks😉

Bay St. Louis 2018--Part 4

Our second day ended with a yummy dinner by the water and then a stroll down the beach in search of shells. There's just not much better!
It's a must to get in the puppy snuggles with Sophie before bed. My people loves puppies.
No trip to Aunt Carolyn's is complete without a picture on Papaw's swing. So many memories on that swing!
We woke up the next morning and did some shopping before heading back home. Our visits are short but jammed packed with fun and lots of memories made. Just like it happens every year, the kids start planning the next visit before even exiting Hancock county!  Thank you Aunt Carolyn for always being willing to host our wild and rowdy bunch!  We can't wait for next summer!
